Dear Friends,

In just a few short years, Tech25 has grown from a small community-based training initiative into one of the most dynamic workforce development organizations in the region. We've provided training to over 6,500 individuals, including more than 400 youth and adults working in the industry across the region.

This summer alone, we're running multiple youth workforce programs, launching our new "GAP Year Apprenticeship Program" providing a year of paid training to recent high school graduates, and continuing to create real pathways into careers in event production, media, and broadcast technology. We've also invested in state-of-the-art digital audio consoles and are now an official Obsidian/Onyx Training Partner, ensuring our students learn on industry-standard tools.

What makes us most proud is our growing network of partners who believe in our mission and open doors for our apprentices, students and alumni, including:

  • Band Together Pittsburgh
  • Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh
  • Andy Warhol Museum
  • Bhutanese Community Association
  • Best of the Batch Foundation
  • Concord Elementary
  • Carrick, Brashear, and Taylor Allderdice High Schools
    ...and many more

Today, we are participating in The Pittsburgh Foundation’s ONE DAY Critical Needs Campaign—a one-day fundraising event that supports organizations addressing the region’s most pressing challenges.

Your support can help us make a difference, whether $25 or $2,500, it helps us provide equitable access to hands-on training, mentorship, and employment in an industry that's often hard to break into—especially for women, youth of color, and non-college-bound students.

With gratitude,
Pete Spynda
