PRODUCTION EDUCATOR / YOUTH MENTOR POSITION
Tech 25 is seeking an energetic, versatile, and people-focused Production Arts Educator & Youth Mentor to work across our education, workforce development, events, and community programs.
This position is ideal for someone who has broad experience across production technology, including audio, lighting, video, broadcast, music production, or AV systems, and enjoys applying those skills in different environments. We are not looking for someone who needs to be the foremost expert in one technical discipline. Instead, we value someone who is curious, adaptable, comfortable working across multiple areas of production, and eager to continue learning alongside our team and students.
Just as importantly, this person should enjoy working with older teens and young adults. They will serve as an educator, mentor, positive role model, and bridge between classroom learning and real-world work experiences.
The role will collaborate across Tech 25 departments, support instructors and programs where additional capacity is needed, help lead activities and events, and represent Tech 25 at schools, community events, industry gatherings, and partner organizations.
We are looking for someone who is outgoing, lively, dependable, and comfortable speaking in front of groups. The right person should be willing to step into new situations, take initiative, solve problems, and help wherever their skills can have the greatest impact.
PROJECT MANAGER / CAREER PATHWAYS COORDINATOR
Tech 25 is seeking an energetic, organized, and technically versatile Production Manager & Career Pathways Coordinator to help connect our training programs with real-world production experience and employment opportunities.
This position sits at the intersection of production, workforce development, education, and industry engagement. The Production Manager & Career Pathways Coordinator will help coordinate productions and technical projects involving Tech 25 staff, students, and apprentices while also helping participants move from training into paid work, apprenticeships, freelance opportunities, and long-term careers.
The ideal candidate understands multiple areas of production technology including audio, lighting, video, broadcast, music production, AV systems, or live events, but does not need to be the organization's foremost technical expert in every discipline. More important is the ability to understand production needs, coordinate people and resources, communicate clearly, solve problems, and know when to involve other technical specialists.
A major focus of this position will be working directly with older teens and young adults. This person will help participants understand professional expectations, identify their strengths and interests, prepare for employment, and gain meaningful real-world experience.
This is a highly collaborative and people-facing role. We are looking for someone who is outgoing, dependable, organized, proactive, and comfortable communicating with students, staff, employers, production professionals, and community partners.
