Tech 25 offers pay-what-you-can, donation-based training designed to make careers in the live events, entertainment, and production industries accessible to everyone. Whether you're exploring a new career, developing technical skills, or looking for hands-on experience, our programs provide a pathway into the industry.
What Does Tech 25 Teach?
Students can explore a variety of disciplines including Live Sound, Lighting, Video Production, Broadcast Production, Music Production, DJing, Virtual Production, and Event Technology. Programs range from introductory workshops to advanced certifications, apprenticeships, and paid work experiences.
How Do I Get Started?
Most students begin with Stagehand Basics, an introduction to the core skills, terminology, equipment, safety practices, and workflows used throughout the live events and production industry.
After completing Stagehand Basics, students can continue into specialized training tracks based on their interests and career goals, including audio, lighting, video, broadcast, music production, and virtual production.
Where Can This Lead?
Tech 25 students have access to workshops, manufacturer certifications, apprenticeships, employer networking opportunities, and paid work experiences that help transform training into real-world employment.
Along the way, students can participate in LAB HOURS, workshops, certifications, apprenticeships, paid work experiences, and industry networking opportunities that help turn training into employment.
