Music Production
Our Music Production classes introduce students to Ableton Live, one of the industry's leading digital audio workstations. Participants learn recording, beatmaking, arrangement, mixing, sound design, and music production techniques while creating original projects in a collaborative studio environment. Classes are taught by Ableton Certified Trainer Steve Smith, Gallo Locknez an experienced SYNC representative, and DJ B-RENN a dj who continues to win awards.
For those interested in live performance, our DJ classes provide hands-on experience with professional equipment, including Pioneer DJ controllers, mixers, and performance software. Students learn music selection, beatmatching, mixing techniques, live performance skills, and event production while building confidence behind the decks.
Tech 25 also offers workshops focused on music business and Sync Licensing—the process of placing music in film, television, advertising, video games, and digital media. Through these sessions, participants learn how to prepare music for licensing opportunities, understand publishing and rights management, and explore pathways to generating income through original creative work.
