Job Title: Content Creator & Video Production Instructor
Reports to: Executive Director
Status: Full-Time (32–40 hours/week)**
Location: Tech 25, 112 St Joseph Street - Pittsburgh, PA
Pay Range: $45,000 – $60,000 per year (based on experience)
Position: Contract position with potential for full time employment
About Tech 25
Tech 25 is a nonprofit “Center for Production Arts” dedicated to providing accessible, hands-on training in audio, video, lighting, and live event production. We serve youth and adults from diverse backgrounds, creating workforce pathways into creative-tech careers through mentorship, technical training, and real-world production experience.
Position Overview
The Content Manager & Video Production Instructor is a hybrid creative-educator role responsible for both teaching video production and managing Tech 25’s digital content presence.
The position is evenly split between:
70% Content Creation & Management: producing engaging digital content that documents programs, showcases student work, and grows Tech 25’s online audience.
30% Instruction: teaching and mentoring youth and adults in video production, editing, and storytelling.
The ideal candidate is passionate about youth development, storytelling, and technology, someone who can inspire students while helping the organization communicate its impact to the world.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Social Media Management (70%)
Produce short-form videos and reels optimized for each platform and aligned with organizational storytelling goals.
Collaborate closely with the Outreach & Marketing team to plan and execute a social-media strategy.
Capture, edit, and publish content that documents classes, workshops, product reviews, events, and student achievements.
Maintain a consistent posting schedule across YouTube, Instagram,Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn to build visibility and engagement.
Track analytics and engagement metrics; recommend strategies to improve reach and follower growth.
Archive program photos, footage, and testimonials for grant reporting and marketing use.
Contribute to digital campaigns and multimedia storytelling that highlight Tech 25’s impact in the community.
Teaching & Program Development (30%)
Teach hands-on video production, camera operation, lighting, green-screen, virtual production, storytelling, and editing.
Mentor students in Tech 25’s youth workforce programs (high-school seniors, recent graduates, and adult learners).
Design engaging lessons, tutorials, and “tips & tricks” videos to support both in-class learning and online instruction.
Guide students through real-world projects such as event recaps, artist profiles, and promotional videos.
Support curriculum development and help expand Tech 25’s video education tracks.
Maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment and model professionalism.
Required
1-4 years professional experience in video production and editing.
Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
Experience teaching or mentoring youth and/or adults in creative or educational settings.
Working knowledge of green-screen and virtual-production techniques.
Familiarity with current social-media trends and short-form video storytelling.
Ability to pass Act 33/34 and FBI background checks.
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
Preferred
Skills in photography, motion graphics, or graphic design.
Experience developing tutorials, lesson plans, or online courses.
Familiarity with nonprofit communications and mission-driven storytelling.
Interest in helping build and scale Tech 25’s creative-tech ecosystem.
Bonus
Knowledge of Virtual Production (XR Production) workflows
Knowledge of AI tools for VFX and audio/video production.
Knowledge of Video for broadcast, PTZ cameras, switchers, standard broadcast delivery formats.
Interest and/or experience in Live Entertainment and Commercial Film/Video production.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $45,000 – $60,000 depending on hours and

Work Schedule
32–40 hours per week, with flexibility for some evening or weekend classes and events.
