The Lab is Tech25’s hands-on learning hub — a space where emerging professionals, students, and creatives can sharpen their skills using real industry-standard equipment. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to advance to specialized gear, The Lab is designed to give you access, guidance, and time to explore.

Open Lab Hours

Open Lab Hours are your chance to drop in, get hands-on, and practice at your own pace. Participants can explore and experiment with equipment, such as:

Pioneer CDJs
Yamaha analog mixer
Behringer X32
Dante Controller software
NX1 lighting consoles
Obey + SlimPARs lighting
Ableton Live
Adobe Creative Suite
Davinci Resolve
Powered speakers, tripods, SM58 microphones, and more.

During these hours, you can also browse our library of industry magazines and resources. A Tech25 staff member will be available for basic guidance, but Open Lab Hours are designed for self-directed exploration.

Registered Lab Hours

Registered Lab Hours give you access to advanced, high-value gear with one-on-one instruction. These sessions are scheduled in advance and include specialized equipment such as:

PC laptops with Capture + Onyx
Yamaha DM3
Allen & Heath SQ5 and SQ6
Front-of-house audio and lighting setups
Mac laptops with Ableton + Push3 + Akai MPK minis
Canon 5D cameras
advanced Dante networking

A Tech25 instructor will be present through operation to ensure you get the most from your session.
