Lighting Design & Programming 1 Training

Tech 25’s Lighting Design & Programming 1 is the next step in learning how to design and program larger, more complex shows and events!

Building upon the fundamentals and theory of Lighting Basics, students will be learning the ins and outs of different lighting softwares and the consoles that go with them:

  • Dive into programming concepts such as patching, groups, presets, palettes, effects, cues, and chases.
  • Learn the difference between and experiment with RGB and CMY color mixing.
  • Get hands on with Volux moving head lights, programming their positions, zoom and focus, gobos, & prism effects.
  • Utilize the previsualization software Capture to virtually control and program lighting systems.
