Tech25 Teen Workforce Programs: Bridging Passion and Profession

Tech25's Teen Workforce Programs are designed to engage students at their points of interest—such as Ableton, beatmaking, and DJing—and guide them toward viable careers in the event production industry. By integrating creative expression with technical training, these programs provide a pathway from artistic pursuits to professional opportunities.

Key Programs:

Start On Success (SOS): A year-round workforce training program for high school seniors, focusing on audio production, lighting, DJing, and digital media, in partnership with Partner4Work.tech25.org

Teen Summer Program: Hands-on training in event production and stagecraft, equipping teens with technical and professional skills during the summer break.

GAP Year Apprenticeship: Offers recent high school graduates a paid, hands-on pathway into the live event and broadcast production industry. Over the course of a year, participants train in audio, lighting, video, and stagecraft while working alongside industry professionals. This program bridges the gap between school and career by equipping young adults with the skills, experience, and certifications needed to secure employment with production companies, unions, and media organizations across the region.

BPM Ableton Packs: Short-term courses introducing youth (ages 10–18) to beatmaking, DJing, sampling, and Foley design using Ableton Live.

Warhol DJ Academy: A collaboration with The Andy Warhol Museum, offering middle and high school students training in DJing, performance, and music curation.

Customized Programs: We can tailor our programs to meet your students needs.

Through these programs, Tech25 connects students' creative interests to broader industry roles, such as stage technicians, audio engineers, and lighting designers. By providing practical experience and mentorship, Tech25 prepares teens for employment opportunities with regional production companies, local unions, and other industry partners, facilitating a smooth transition from high school to the workforce.
